Sacredmediacow was a media collective I co-founded in 2004 at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) with 3 other PhD students.  A part of our unruly and anarchic activities was to host a wide range of unconventional scholars, practitioners and activists involved with South Asia and its diaspora.  I designed the logo the collective as well as the posters for these events.  The collective’s activities culminated in a book we co-edited called Indian Mass Media and the Politics of Change.   Since then, the four founders have “grown up” to become a celebrated novelist, an award-winning film director and a visionary behind a digital research company in India.  Adding these here for nostalgy.
